The early growing, late maturing, and persistent
timothy. BARLIZA is a very popular Timothy in
Europe (Holland, Germany) and now available in the US! Barliza Timothy does well in blends;
it adds palatability, spring growth, health and winter hardiness to the
stand. Timothy as a pure stand is perfect for haying but less suitable for
grazing. If Timothy starts heading out both palatability and
digestibility drop dramatically. Therefore as a blend component for grazing a
late maturing variety is preferred.
BARLIZA is a late maturing
variety and is therefore suitable for both haying and as a component in
